Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is also referred to as talk therapy, psycho-social therapy, Psychotherapy, counseling, or simply, therapy. This form of therapy is designed for threating mental health problems and/or various challenges an individual might be experiencing. The goal is to bring awareness to a person’s illness and teach strategies and tools that manage unhealthy thoughts and behaviors. Therapy can also be effective with dealing with life transitions, day to day challenges or even if you are just having a difficult time coping with a situation.

For many, individual therapy alone may be sufficient treatment, depending on their mental illness and its severity. Other times, individual counseling is combined with medication and together for a more effective form of treatment. As your therapist, I will work with you to develop the best treatment plan for your particular needs.
