Mental Health Medication Management

Medications work differently for everyone. We strive to keep you informed about your treatment options and help you make informed choices about your psychiatric care. We follow up on how your medication is working through ongoing assessment and discussion of any concerns or side effects and make adjustments as clinically appropriate.

In terms of medication management for anxiety and other mental health conditions, we don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. We use current clinical guidelines and evidence-based psychiatric care to help ensure that your treatment plan is right for your symptoms, needs, and goals.

What to Expect From Medication Management

-
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation: We'll review your mental health history, current symptoms, current medications, overall health considerations, and treatment goals.
-
Personalized treatment recommendations: Your provider discusses the medication and treatment options that are right for you.
-
Evidence-based psychiatric care: Treatment recommendations are based on the current clinical evidence and established psychiatric care practice.
-
Follow-up appointments: We monitor your progress and change your medication if clinically indicated.
-
Continued support and education: Ask questions, discuss your concerns and learn more about your medications and treatment plan.
-
Coordination with your care team: Where appropriate and with your consent, we can liaise with your therapist or other healthcare providers to help ensure that your care is coordinated.
-
Flexible scheduling options: Available for eligible patients throughout Florida, including telehealth and in-person appointments.
