At Wellness Mindset Counseling Services, we are not only dedicated to client care but also to developing the next generation of mental health providers. We offer hands-on preceptor and clinical training opportunities for graduate students in counseling, social work, and psychiatric nursing (PMHNP programs).

Our practice is a trauma-focused, integrative training hub where students gain meaningful, real-world experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in both individual and group settings.

 

Our training programs include:​

• Clinical Internships & Practicums for mental health and social work students.

• PMHNP Preceptor Rotations with licensed mental health counselor and/or board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner.

• Supervision and mentorship from licensed clinicians with trauma expertise.

• Training in trauma-informed care, EHR systems, CPT coding, and compliance.

• Opportunities to work with diverse populations, including families and first responders.
