Therapy Services

At Wellness Mindset Counseling Services, we know that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming especially if you’ve experienced trauma, stress, or uncertainty in your life. Our compassionate team of clinicians is here to walk alongside you. With trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and bilingual providers, we create a safe and inclusive space where your story is honored, your experiences are validated, and your healing journey is supported.

No two people heal in the same way, which is why our clinicians offer a variety of evidence-based therapies designed to meet your unique needs.

Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, you’ll work one-on-one with a clinician who listens with care and without judgment. This is your space to explore what you’ve been through, how it’s affecting you now, and what healing could look like moving forward. Our trauma-informed approach means your therapist will always prioritize safety and pacing that feels manageable.

Whether you’re coping with anxiety, depression, loss, or post-traumatic stress, our clinicians use methods like CBT, IFS, and mindfulness to help you move toward resilience and peace.

Group Therapy

Healing can be even more powerful in the community. Group therapy allows you to connect with others who have walked through similar experiences and understand what it’s like to carry invisible burdens. Guided by one of our clinicians, groups provide a supportive environment to share, learn, and practice skills together.

We offer groups on trauma recovery, anxiety and depression, relationship building, and life skills for first responders and their families. In group therapy, you’ll discover strength not only in yourself but also in the shared stories of others.

Family & Couples Therapy

Trauma and stress don’t just affect the individual they impact relationships too. Our clinicians provide family and couples therapy to help improve communication, rebuild trust, and restore connection. We support families and partners as they work through challenges such as parenting stress, conflict, infidelity, or major life transitions.

Trauma Therapy

Our clinicians are deeply trained in trauma-focused therapy. Trauma can live in the body, emotions, and mind long after the event has passed showing up as anxiety, hypervigilance, flashbacks, or emotional numbness. In trauma therapy, we provide a safe and structured process to gently unpack these experiences and reclaim your sense of safety.

We honor your pace, support your strengths, and guide you with evidence-based approaches that reduce distress and foster healing.

EMDR Therapy

For many, trauma memories feel stuck replaying in the mind and body as if they are happening all over again. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an advanced therapy that helps reprocess these memories so they no longer carry the same emotional weight.

Our clinicians use EMDR to help clients reduce trauma symptoms, gain emotional relief, and move forward with renewed freedom. Many clients describe EMDR as life-changing, offering a level of healing they didn’t think was possible.

Child & Adolescent Counseling.jpg

Child & Adolescent Counseling

Children and teens experience trauma and stress differently from adults. They may act out, withdraw, or struggle to express what they’re feeling. Our clinicians use play therapy, art therapy, and other developmentally appropriate approaches to help young clients share their stories in safe and creative ways.

Therapy for kids and teens focuses on building coping skills, strengthening self-esteem, and involving parents as supportive partners in the healing process.

Specialized Approaches

Because every client’s journey is unique, our clinicians are trained in multiple trauma-focused and evidence-based methods, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifying and shifting negative thought patterns.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills: Strengthening emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Healing inner “parts” of the self impacted by trauma.

  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy: Cultivating presence, safety, and resilience in the here and now.

Inclusive & Bilingual Services

We know that healing is deeply personal and often shaped by culture and language. That’s why our team includes culturally diverse and bilingual clinicians who provide therapy in both English and Spanish. We honor your background and meet you with care, understanding, and respect.

Taking the First Step

The first step toward healing is often the hardest. In your intake session, one of our clinicians will listen to your story, discuss your goals, and collaborate with you on a plan that feels safe and manageable. Whether you choose individual, group, family, or trauma-specific therapy, our trauma-informed team will be by your side supporting you every step of the way.

You don’t have to carry the weight alone. Our clinicians are here to help you heal, grow, and reclaim your life.
